Customer Service Representative

Zumbro Valley Health Center is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join our team.  As a member of the Customer Service team, this position will primarily support the outpatient services department scheduling client appointments, greeting clients and visitors, and answering phones.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage front desk by completing check-in's, scheduling new appointment, answering questions, and monitoring waiting area
  • Greet individuals in person and on the telephone in a professional and hospitable manner
  • Provide general program information
  • Answer questions and direct individuals to appropriate programs
  • Communicate payment policy, check insurance, and collecting payments
  • Answer multi-line phone system, transfer calls and relay messages
  • Create, update, and maintain staff schedules
  • Confirm individuals contacts and demographic information is updated in electronic clinical record
  • Performing general clerical duties as making copies, distribute forms, faxing, sort mail, word processing of letters, create and update forms, and other miscellaneous jobs as assigned

 

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Two years of prior front office experience or post-secondary secretarial training
  • Superior customer service skills and experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast pace environment
  • Self-directed and effective working in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Electronic medical or clinical record experience preferred
