Like many of you, Zumbro Valley Health Center is concerned about the occurrence of COVID-19 (Novel coronavirus). While the chances of contracting COVID-19 are currently low, we know this is a rapidly developing situation and the safety of our clients, staff, and providers remain our highest priority.

We will continue to closely monitor recommendations and protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and Olmsted County Public Health. During this time, we remain committed to providing an inclusive, welcoming environment for anyone living with mental health issues.

As a precautionary measure, we have implemented increased hygiene routines, monitoring and operations protocols, and are following clinical procedures outlined by healthcare organizations and leading authorities within the mental health industry.

We recommend following the (CDC) everyday guidelines to prevent the spread of any respiratory illness including COVID-19. If you are feeling unwell, please take steps to safeguard others and remain at home. You can follow this link for additional information from the CDC: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/about/prevention.html?CDC_AA_refVal=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.cdc.gov%2Fcoronavirus%2F2019-ncov%2Fabout%2Fprevention-treatment.html.

Your health is important to us, and we will continue to keep a close watch on the trajectory of COVID-19 in the southeast Minnesota area and worldwide. To date, routine hygienic measures are the suggested best practice for the prevention of viruses like the coronavirus. If you schedule an in-person appointment and suspect you have COVID-19, please contact us prior to your arrival.

Thank you for supporting Zumbro Valley Health Center.
