This group is designed to assist individuals who struggle with regulating their mood and emotions. Instructors are DBT trained and the course will focus on application of DBT skills under the framework of DBT curriculum developed by Marsha Linehan to teach, model and practice mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. It is preferred that clients in this group have knowledge of DBT skills basics and have taken a group course or completed 1 on 1 work in the past as focus will be on application of skills.
