Be Your Selfie

This group will meet with girls ages 10 to 14 and address themes such as: Who Am I? Body Image, Communication, Emotions, Friendships, Relationships, Self-Esteem, Stress, Reaching Out, and Who I Am!

The focus of this group is to empower girls to talk openly about important issues as they get to know themselves. There are activities in each group that will help them with problem-solving skills, making healthy decisions, and understanding that they are not alone in the challenges they face.

Coping With My Parents’ Divorce

This group will be a closed, semi-structured group to help kids aged 10-14 cope with their parents’ divorce. Topics to be explored: when your parents fight, feelings, living your values, encouraging yourself, de-stressing your mind and body, and using coping tools that work with sadness, worry, anger, hurt, confusion, fear, and guilt.

Duration: 10 weeks
June 15th – August 24th (no group July 6th)

Middle School Processing Group

This group will be an open-process group to help middle school students connect with each other during the summer. Topics to be explored: identifying values, expressing individuality, dealing with social pressure, developing healthy friendships, facing adversity and thriving in difficult situations.

Rainbow Youth Connection

This group is for youth between the ages of 12-17, who identify as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community. Topics include providing support through difficult life events, connecting with other youth with similar experience, and providing education about healthy relationships.
