About
Abby has experience working in outpatient, community, intensive outpatient program, and partial hospitalization program settings where she provided therapeutic and supportive services to children, adolescents, adults, and families with trauma related concerns, relational concerns, grief and loss, behavioral concerns, identity, life adjustments, neurodivergence, anxiety, and mood disorders.
Abby utilizes therapy modalities such as trauma-informed practices, cognitive-behavioral, systemic, solution-focused, dialectical behavioral, sensorimotor, and strengths-based approaches. Her clinical interests include working with individuals in marginalized communities and providing affirming care, enhancing interpersonal relationships, life transitions, women’s issues, and trauma.
Abby brings her authentic self into sessions by using humor, validation, empowerment, and encourages her clients to make the changes necessary to achieve their goals. She strives to create a safe space to walk alongside clients during their therapy experience. Abby is passionate about helping clients tell their story, unlock their inner strengths, heal from painful experiences, and grow into the best version of themselves.
In Abby’s free time, you can find her cooking for friends and family, playing games of all kinds (e.g. video games, card games, board games, RPG), gardening, watching and listening to true crime documentaries/podcasts, and spending time with her friends, family, and her two cats, Toby and Ria.
