About

Anna has experience working in outpatient and community settings, where she has provided therapeutic services to children, adolescents, and adults with trauma-related issues, identity issues, life adjustments, self-esteem concerns, anxiety, and mood disorders.

Anna is nationally certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Adolescent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy through a Linehan-approved institute. The therapeutic modalities Anna uses include trauma-informed practices, cognitive-behavioral, dialectical-behavioral, solution-focused, and strengths-based approaches. Her special clinical interests include working with adolescents and young adults through life transitions and identity formation, building healthy self-esteem and self-confidence, and addressing complex trauma.

When meeting with Anna, you can expect to be greeted with a smile and warmth. She balances empathy with empowerment, providing a space safe enough to be challenged to grow. Anna prioritizes collaboration with her clients and believes it is the primary driver of change. Finally, Anna believes that laughter is the best medicine and regularly finds opportunities to incorporate cringey jokes into her sessions.

In her free time, Anna enjoys eating good food, lifting heavy weights, trying to get her cat to love her, and consuming Tolkienian literature.
