I choose to become a mental health professional to be able to share my professional knowledge, as well as, personal knowledge and experience in the field of addiction in hopes of passing on what was so freely passed on to me.
I love that Zumbro Valley Health Center’s values and core beliefs match mine. Zumbro Valley Health Center provides person-centered care and staff/client support and needs to maintain and promote well-being.
My main focus on treating addiction is to provide education and offer a variety of coping skill techniques the client can practice using to help the client navigate through life’s challenges without using substances.
