About

Gwen provides therapy for adults navigating the challenges of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She also supports clients experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, the effects of past trauma, and major life transitions. Her approach is rooted in trauma-informed care and guided by curiosity, compassion, and mutual respect.

Gwen incorporates person-centered, strengths-based approaches with cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, attachment theory, somatic practices, and harm reduction strategies to support healing and sustainable change. She is certified in HeartMath biofeedback, which reinforces the connection between the brain and body. Gwen believes that each person’s story deserves to be met with openness and care, and she strives to create a space that is warm, inclusive, non-judgmental, and collaborative.

Whether you’re working through recovery, facing a loss, or adjusting to a new phase of life, Gwen is here to support you in reconnecting with your strengths and moving toward meaningful growth. Gwen currently sees clients at the Northgate office of ZVHC.

Outside of work, Gwen likes to spend time with family and friends, hike in the woods, read literary fiction, make baked goods, and watch college sports.
