About
Janice is a dedicated and compassionate psychotherapist with over 10 years of experience in outpatient settings. She has provided therapeutic services to adolescents, adults, families, and couples with histories of trauma, relational concerns, grief and loss, identity questions, life transitions, anxiety, and depression.
Janice is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Cognitive Processing Therapy for PTSD. The therapy modalities she utilizes include CBT, DBT, and ACT. She uses a solution-focused and strengths-based approach. Her special clinical interests include working with adults ages 18 to 80 and beyond, providing treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, couples’ work, and the grief journey.
Janice brings her authentic, direct, humorous, and curious self into sessions, and it is her intention to provide a safe and judgment-free zone in order to sit alongside her clients wherever they may be on their life journey. She is passionate about empowering her clients to help them find their purpose and their voice. Life is hard, and doing it together can be an amazing experience.
In her free time, you can find Janice spending time with her family, playing with her dog, reading a book, or planning her next trip.
