About
I chose to become a mental health professional because I enjoy working with people. It is a wonderful experience to help others harness their strengths while supporting them as they face the challenges of daily life. I love getting a daily opportunity to encounter the wondrous diversity and dynamism of the human person. Areas of clinical focus are mood and anxiety disorders in adolescence and adults, primarily using a cognitive behavioral approach. Another area of specialty is faith-based counseling, integrating the Christian perspective into the therapeutic process. I graduated with a MA in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University. I am intuitive, caring, patient, and joyful. These attributes lead to a genuine empathetic therapeutic process carried out at a pace dictated by the client.
