About

I chose to become a mental health professional because I hope to have a direct impact on the lives of the people I work with. I have always enjoyed working with and getting know youth of all ages. With a history of working in child welfare and family group decision making, I understand that children are a part of their own unique family system, with their own strengths and individuality within that system. My goal is to work collaboratively with the client and the system of supports around them to improve their mental wellbeing. My hope is to merge my passions of child welfare and mental health by helping children and families who may be experiencing challenges through the child welfare system.

I strive to be culturally responsive and value working with individuals of all cultures and backgrounds. I am passionate about working with individuals a part of the LGBTQIA+ community and continue to work to expand my allyship. Overall, my approach is to provide an authentic, inclusive, and safe environment that is client-focused with an emphasis on a strong client-therapist relationship.
