About
Lydia is a pre-licensed mental health therapist who earned her Master of Science in Counseling and Student Personnel and is working toward licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She has experience providing individual, family, and group therapy in outpatient settings. Her clinical experience includes working with a wide range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and adjustment-related challenges.
Lydia takes a person-centered and collaborative approach to therapy, integrating interventions from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and strengths-based approaches. When working with younger children, she incorporates developmentally appropriate play therapy techniques.
Lydia’s goal is to create a supportive and inclusive environment where clients feel seen, heard, and understood. She works collaboratively with each person to identify their strengths, develop practical coping strategies, and create meaningful, individualized pathways toward growth and change. She brings authenticity, empathy, and creativity to her work while supporting students as they navigate emotional, personal, and academic challenges.
Outside of work, Lydia enjoys reading, exploring new places with her dog, watching a good TV series, experimenting with new recipes, and spending time with family and friends.
