About

Nancy has been in the field of substance use for 20 years and has adapted to many changes in modalities over the years to best serve her clients. Nancy provides intensive outpatient services to adults who struggle with co-occurring diagnoses. She has worked in inpatient facilities as a counselor, detox coordinator, and clinical supervisor.

Nancy is trained in many areas of concern related to substance use and mental health, including harm reduction, relapse prevention, self-empowerment, DBT, ACT, grief and loss, trauma, and military PTSD.

Nancy brings her authentic, direct, and humorous self into sessions and strives to cultivate a safe space while walking alongside her clients during their treatment experience. She validates, challenges, empowers, and encourages her clients to make the changes necessary to achieve their goals. She is passionate about helping clients tell their stories, unlock their inner strengths, heal from painful experiences, and grow into the best version of themselves.

Nancy is an avid MN Vikings fan and loves Christmas, playing Christmas music year-round. She has recently started reading again. Nancy’s favorite things to do include spending time with her family and spoiling her four grandchildren.
