Happy family

You are not alone.

"Mental health-related stigma among my healthcare provider colleagues has always stopped me from seeking help. When I found out that Zumbro Valley Health Center offers telehealth options, that was the deciding factor for me to finally make an appointment. The intake process was so easy!"

“I was amazed and very pleased with how simple this process seemed compared to what I imagined would be a headache. I am so appreciative that this service is available and now I look forward to my appointments with the new Skype service.”

“I never thought I would Skype at my age, but customer service walked me through everything. I’m so glad they did because I really needed to talk to someone. Now I look forward to meeting through Skype so I’m not alone.”

“I am currently being treated for depression and anxiety. Everything was managed, but everything with COVID made me feel out of control. One visit with Zumbro Valley, just to refresh my skills, was exactly what I needed.”

“I got referred to Zumbro Valley’s chronic homeless housing program in January. After I was referred, I signed my first lease in over five years and moved into my own apartment. I was connected to the outpatient psychotherapy and substance use programs at Zumbro Valley. At the same time, COVID hit Olmsted County. I was really concerned because I have a chronic respiratory condition. Zumbro Valley was able to quickly transition my appointments to phone calls so I can stay safe in my own home and still get the help that I need. This has provided me the extra support and stability I need during these uncertain times.”

"I have had 3 appointments so far in therapy and have been so pleased with Zumbro Valley Health Center services. I was having increased anxiety related to being home due to COVID-19 and trying to homeschool my children. My therapist's suggestions are working for me. I actually told a good friend who is experiencing the same thing, to call for an appointment – and she was able to get in immediately."

"I have fibromyalgia and social anxiety. I really appreciate the ability to meet with providers over the phone and Skype. Telehealth has been helpful because I don't have to muster up the energy or effort to get ready and drive down to Zumbro Valley Health Center as I live on the north side of town."

"My time as Zumbro Valley IRTS in Rochester, MN came with one of the most challenging times in the history of the World (Covid-19). They met this challenge head-on and delivered top-notch professional care to me while at the same time following the U.S. government and Minnesota state regulations, to defeat Covid-19. The full 90-day stay is definitely worth it. I have learned skills in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Dual Diagnosis groups, and many more. I can put these in my mental health toolbox to practice in order to avoid repeat hospital stays. They also allowed me to pursue individual goals for my physical, mental, and spiritual growth. I’d recommend Zumbro Valley IRTS to anyone struggling with mental health or drug and alcohol use."
