About
This group provides education about alcohol and its effects to help you identify strategies to prevent yourself from receiving future drinking and driving offenses. You will learn methods to create your self-protection plan to choose alternatives to drinking.
Treatment Components
We offer individual and group counseling to help you identify and address issues related to substance use along with creating strategies to avoid drug and/or alcohol use following treatment. Through the class, you will better understand:
- MN drinking and driving statutes
- Short- and long-term effects of substance use
- Present and future costs of driving under the influence
- Treatment options
Each person is provided with a completion letter at the end of the class day.
Class Schedule
Classes provide eight hours of education and are held on the first Saturday of every month. The class costs $100 and no prior assessments or insurance are needed.
