This group is designed specifically for youth who are struggling with drug and alcohol problems in addition to mental health challenges that interfere with social and academic functioning.
Treatment Components
This group is a safe space for participants to focus on several topics surrounding the negative correlation drugs and alcohol have on mental health. Skill building will focus on:
- Increasing Self-Esteem
- Protective Factors
- Identifying Reasons, Effects, and Consequences of Drug and Alcohol Use
