About
Jazmin has experience working in outpatient and community-based mental health settings, where she has supported children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Her work has focused on helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, relationship challenges, and life transitions.
She is certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and biofeedback. Jazmin also utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and incorporates trauma-informed, strengths-based, and emotion-focused approaches. Depending on the client’s needs, she may also integrate solution-focused and systemic perspectives.
Jazmin is especially passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, individuals navigating women-specific concerns, couples, and those from marginalized backgrounds. She is dedicated to supporting clients through anxiety, trauma recovery, identity development, interpersonal conflict, and building emotional regulation skills.
In sessions, Jazmin brings her authentic, warm, and direct self. She strives to create a safe, affirming space where clients can show up exactly as they are. Jazmin meets each client with compassion, maintains curiosity, and walks alongside them as they reconnect with their strengths, process difficult experiences, and grow toward their goals.
In her free time, Jazmin enjoys spending time in nature, reading, and crafting. She also enjoys listening to music, caring for her plants, and spending time with her cats and loved ones.
