About

I became a mental health professional because I wanted to provide a safe environment for support, guidance, and direction on life challenges. I enjoy working with teens, young adults, and families to explore the barriers of change either at home, school, or community. As a therapist, I use a strength-based and person-centered approach to create a therapeutic relationship to empower individuals to create change.

I have experience working with teens, young adults, older adults, family systems, adoptions / foster care, and provided Trauma–Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for teens.

I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work at Southwest State University and my Master’s in Social Work at the University of St. Thomas and College of St. Catherine.
