This group is a safe space for participants to focus on several topics surrounding the negative correlation drugs and alcohol have on mental health. Skill building will focus on increasing self-esteem, protective factors, and identifying reasons, effects, and consequences of drug and alcohol use.

The group teaches skills to regulate emotions, cope with difficult situations, increase effectiveness in communicating with others, and maintain healthy relationships.

This group uses Kimochi’s curriculum to help children explore, process, and regulate emotions by increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making skills.

Fun with Coping Skills

As part of your child’s elementary curriculum, this group is designed to help students understand their emotions, learn effective coping strategies, and apply those skills in real-life situations. The group will be held in your student’s classroom once a week for 30 minutes.

This interactive group helps youth connect with each other, learn more about themselves, and receive support to navigate friendships and life’s stressors.
