The group teaches skills to regulate emotions, cope with difficult situations, increase effectiveness in communicating with others, and maintain healthy relationships.

This group is a safe space for participants to focus on several topics surrounding the negative correlation drugs and alcohol have on mental health. Skill building will focus on increasing self-esteem, protective factors, and identifying reasons, effects, and consequences of drug and alcohol use.

This group uses Kimochi’s curriculum to help children explore, process, and regulate emotions by increasing self-awareness, self-management, social awareness, relationship skills, and responsible decision-making skills.

Wednesday | 5:00-6:00 p.m. | 8 weeks beginning 04/10/24

Location: Greenview Office

 

This group will work on socializing, relaxation, self-care, emotion identification, and emotion regulation. The goal of this group is to provide opportunities for socialization while working on coping skills.

Thursday | 5:00-6:00 p.m. | 8 weeks beginning 06/13/24

Location: Woodlake Office

 

This 2-week group will focus on increasing positive mental well-being for 11- to 14-year-olds. The goal of this group is to build different aspects of mental health such as self-esteem, distress tolerance, self-care, socializing, and building resilience. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in activities such as indoor rock climbing, pottery, hiking, gardening, and more.

This interactive group helps youth connect with each other, learn more about themselves, and receive support to navigate friendships and life’s stressors.
