Participants in this monthly program have been involved with the traffic court or the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. This group provides education about alcohol and its effects to help you identify strategies to prevent yourself from receiving future drinking and driving offenses. You will learn methods to create your self-protection plan to choose alternatives to drinking.

1st Saturday of the Month

Location: Northgate Office

This group includes 8 hours of education.

 

Participants focus on understanding the consequences that alcohol and drug use has on their physical, emotional, and mental health along with how substance use impacts our subconscious choices. They also learn how substance use impacts self-worth and the family system. Participants work on identifying triggers, cravings, and urges along with coping mechanisms for each. The group also focuses on the benefits of abstinence, new thinking patterns, and communication skills.

Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday | 5-7 p.m.

This group includes 42 group hours and 4 individual hours.

 

Participants with co-occurring disorders learn how their mental health and substance use impacts their daily lives. The participants in this intensive outpatient program work with a multidisciplinary team to create a personalized treatment plan for recovery.

Monday-Thursday | 10-12 p.m.

Location: Northgate Office

This group includes 208 group hours and 12 individual hours.

 

Participants focus on identifying relapse triggers, developing new patterns of thinking, and building social networks with others. The group is specifically designed as an intensive harm reduction program for participants who have reached chronic stages of substance use.

Monday-Friday | 9:30-11:30 a.m.

Location: Northgate Office

This group includes 520 group hours and 26 individual hours.

 

Participants will focus on relapse prevention. This group is designed specifically for those with a history of opioid use, including those involved with medication-assisted treatment. Participants will focus on addressing cravings, managing high-risk situations, learning about medically supervised withdrawal, and building life skills while in recovery and in medication-assisted treatment.

Wednesday | 4-5:30 p.m.

This group includes 48 group hours and 8 individual hours.

 

Participants have an opportunity to create inner peace and calm by learning to recognize and embrace their unique experiences in an honest and curiosity-filled way. We will develop or enhance skills to handle distressing situations, identify/ regulate emotions, and learn how to encounter negative thinking while integrating components of health and overall well-being. This program is designed to be medium intensity, to prevent relapse, and to live a fulfilling life.

Wednesday | 4-5:30 p.m.

Location: Northgate Office

This group includes 105 group hours and 6 individual hours.

 

Female participants learn about mental health and/ or substance use disorder issues related to trauma, co-dependency, relationships, and other gender-specific issues. This program is designed to be a co-occurring intensive outpatient program that is ideal for the individual discharging from a residential program and living in the Rochester, MN area.

Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday | 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

This group includes 234 group hours and 8 individual hours.

 

Participants instill basic traits that will assist them in being successful in their own recovery as well as their personal and work life. This program will help each individual examine opportunities to explore self-reliance, self-direction, and self-discipline in daily life.
